We
are a busy church! Check out our
list and see what you would like to be involved with:

Advent Family Craft workshop.
Held on the afternoon
of the First Sunday in Advent, we enjoy getting together and making
crafts, enjoying fellowship, and eating dinner together.
Bowling
leagues. We have several active bowling
leagues, that bowl at Maplewood Lanes on Monday nights. For
more
information contact Rich Moldenhauer.
Boy
Scouts. We support a Cub Scout and a Boy Scout
troop here, and they meet on Sunday evenings at 6:30. For
more
information, contact Bill and Joan Lee.
Christmas
in July Donation Drive for local agencies.
Committees.
As a busy church, we have many standing
committees that run all the programs and events. If you would
like to be involved in the church, the committees are the place to
start. We are always looking for new members with new ideas
to
help us do God's work. Check out our list of committees and

Immanuel
Lutheran Church Women of the ELCA. The ILCW
is the womens' group of the church, and has the purpose statement:
As a community
of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus
Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to
grow
in faith,
affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage
in ministry and
action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society,
and the world.

Mother-Daughter-Friend Brunch, sponsered by the Lutheran
Men in Mission, is an annual Mother's Day celebaratory brunch.
Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for children ages 3-12, and free

Operation
Christmas Child. Annually, we gather shoe
boxes and small gifts through this program run by the organization
Samaritan's Purse, which will deliver these gifts to children who
otherwise would not receive Christmas presents. This is a
whole
church activity, with everyone from the Sunday School children to
adults able to participate. Check out our News page for more
information when this comes around again!
Operation
Love meets the 4th Thurs. of every month at 9 AM
to make quilts. Each attendee should bring a sandwich and
another
dish to pass so we can eat together for lunch.
Pet
Blessing. Annually on the Feast of St. Francis,
we celebrate the wonders of creation by blessing our pets.
Tape
Ministry for shut-ins. Tapes are available of
each Sunday's Service. Contact the church office for more information
