Church's Centennial Year Celebration! Join us as we worship and praise God for giving us 100 years in the Benson neighborhood, and as we look forward to our next 100 years of Reaching Out With Christ! Next Anniversary Event August 26, 2011 6:00 PM Movie night and snacks fellowship time Weather permitting, we'll sit outside on a hopefully nice evening and watch old silent films (and maybe some new silent films!). Snacks will be provided. Come join us for a fellowship time together. Don't forget to keep your eyes out for the 100 Mission Project List, coming out soon. October 30 Reformation Polka Service followed by congregational German brat dinner November 6 All Saints Sunday History Day November 24 Annual Thanksgiving Dinner Special Anniversary Christmas Ornament sales begin Check back for updated News of Immanuel Lutheran Church! Previous 100th Anniversary Celebrations: Our first celebration was Sunday, July 31 We worshiped in period dress from within the last 100 years, and held an old-fashioned worship service. After dinner, we shared a congregational chicken potluck dinner! |
